Fields
Fields are reusable custom metadata inputs that admins define at the workspace level. They appear on test cases, test results, and test sessions — letting teams capture structured data that matters to their workflow.
Who can manage fields?
The Fields page is accessible to Tenant Admins and Project Admins.

Two categories of fields
Fields are split into two categories, each managed on a separate tab in Admin → Fields:
- Repository Fields
- Apply to test cases (Case Fields) and test execution results (Result Fields). Managed on the REPOSITORY tab. Case Fields support all 10 field types including STEPS. Result Fields support 9 types — STEPS is not available for results.
- Session Fields
- Apply to test sessions. Managed on the SESSIONS tab. Support 9 field types — the STEPS type is not available for sessions.
