Create a Workspace

Creating a workspace registers your admin account and gives your team a dedicated environment with its own URL.

Before you begin

You'll need a valid email address and a company or team name. Workspace URLs cannot be changed after creation, so choose carefully.

Steps

  1. Go to the TestOrchestrator sign-up page and click Create your workspace.
  2. Enter your full name and email address.
  3. Create a password that meets the requirements below.
  4. Enter your company name — this is used for display purposes.
  5. Choose a workspace name. This becomes your subdomain (e.g., entering Acme QA creates acme-qa.testorchestrator.com). You'll see a live preview as you type.
  6. Submit the form. You'll be logged in automatically and taken to your dashboard.
Email verification Depending on your configuration, you may need to verify your email before accessing the dashboard. Check your inbox for a verification link. See Email Verification for details.

Password requirements

Your password must meet all of the following:

  • Between 12 and 100 characters
  • At least one uppercase letter
  • At least one lowercase letter
  • At least one number
  • At least one special character (e.g., !@#$%^&*)

The signup form shows real-time feedback as you type.

Workspace URL rules

Workspace names are converted to a subdomain automatically:

  • Spaces become hyphens
  • Letters are lowercased
  • Only letters, numbers, and hyphens are kept
  • Must be between 3 and 63 characters
Reserved names Some names are reserved and cannot be used: admin, api, www, app, staging, demo, and others. If your chosen name is reserved, you'll be prompted to choose a different one.

Next steps

Once your workspace is set up, you can:

  • Invite team members from the admin panel
  • Create your first project
  • Configure roles and permissions
